Preaching Engagements (confirmed)

I willl be preaching once a month for the next four months (February -May 2010) at Christ the King Presbyteriran Church (Conshohocken, PA); I will also be administering the Lord's Supper, so if you do plan to join us, please prepare yourself for that as well.

These sermons will discuss various stories in Scripture, and will include thoughts on what we are to do with stories (are they, e.g., history, examples, prescriptions?), including those that are less than savoury (e.g., Tamar and Judah, which we will examine on 25 March, d.v.). This is not a "series", in the sense that it examines consecutive passages. On the other hand, the thematic continuity of our humanity and that of the biblical characters, as well as my assumption that one God rules over all things and events, fosters continuity.

The dates are 28 February, 25 March, 14 April, 23 May.
